My grandma Maggie turned 91 last May. I am one of her 17 grandchildren, and my 2 daughters are 2 of her 25 great grandchildren. I thank The Lord that she has been blessed with such a large family. But most of all, I thank The Lord that I am blessed to have her as a grandmother. She affects so many lives, even beyond the family, through her selfless ways and kind heart. Speaking of all but me, I have to say that the achievements of her descendants are inspiring by any measure. And it is my own humble opinion that it is due to her leadership by example of how to live a life of giving and devotion to others and ultimately to God. She truly is a grand matriarch.
